Abstract:Aberrant right subclavian artery(ARSA)is a rare aortic arch branching anomaly in dogs, often causing refractory dysphagia and vomiting in post-weaning puppies.Diagnosis and treatment remain challenging, with no prior domestic case reports in China. In February 2024,Tai Mu Animal Hospital admitted a puppy with ARSA.Surgical relief of vascular compression led to resolution of esophageal stricture and full recovery. This report details the diagnostic and therapeutic process to provide a reference for veterinary clinical practice in managing such cases.
