Abstract:In the production of scaled livestock farming, various factors such as breeding methods, feed nutritional ratios, and breeding environments can induce the occurrence of oxidative stress.Oxidative stress endangers the health and production of livestock and poultry, and is particularly harmful to their reproductive performance, having become one of the main factors hindering the healthy development of China's animal husbandry.Oxidative stress can induce abnormalities in follicular granulosa cells, increase follicular atresia, and reduce reproductive efficiency. In recent studies, the impact of oxidative stress on follicular atresia has been a hot topic in the field of animal reproduction. This article elaborates on the generation of oxidative stress in livestock and poultry, the impact of oxidative stress on ovarian granulosa cells and its molecular mechanisms, and other related research progress,in order to provide references for alleviating the impact of oxidative stress on animal reproductive performance.
