Research progress on resource utilization of cow manure in China

Abstract：With the continuous development of cattle breeding industry in China,environmental pollution of soil,water and air caused by centralized discharge of cattle manure is becoming more and more serious.In this paper,the research progress of cow manure resource utilization was reviewed in five aspects:Fertilizer,energy,feed,substrate and bedding,and the research direction of cow manure resource utilization in the future was prospected,which provided a reference for alleviating the contradiction between the improvement of cattle productivity and the increasingly severe cow manure pollution in China and maximizing the potential of cow manure resource utilization.
