Diagnosis and treatment of a cat with frontal sinus malformation accompanied by frontal sinus pyemia

Abstract:A pastoral cat was infected with feline calicivirus at the age of 2 months and was cured after treatment.Ten months later,the sick cat developed severe respiratory dyspnea,depression,decreased appetite and other symptoms.Through clinical examination,laboratory examination,X-ray examination and magnetic resonance examination,the final diagnosis was frontal sinus deformity with frontal sinus pus.After surgical treatment,the sick cat recovered well.The diagnosis and treatment process of this case was recorded and analyzed in order to provide new ideas for clinical diagnosis and treatment of related diseases.
