Abstract:Chronic renal failure refers to the structural or functional damage of one or both kidneys lasting more than 3 months, and the absolute number of functional units is reduced by more than 70%,resulting in a variety of clinical symptoms and metabolic disorders.A cat was diagnosed with chronic renal failure by imaging, hematology and cytology after a preliminary clinical diagnosis.According to the clinical symptoms and complications caused by chronic kidney failure,a week of drug treatment was carried out to relieve the symptoms, and the cat was discharged from the hospital after recovering from normal conditions. The pet owner was subsequently instructed to manage its diet and return to the doctor on time.Through the analysis of the treatment process of this case,it can be seen that mastering the pathological knowledge of the disease, achieving early diagnosis and timely treatment, has an important role in prolonging the life span of the infected cat and improving the living standard.
