Abstract:The aim of this study was to determine the infection of Mycoplasma gallisepticum(MG)in Liaoning Province. From 2022 to 2024,4 095 samples(1 879 blood samples,2 216 lung, air sac and throat swabs)of broilers and laying hens were collected from multiple farms in Liaoning Province.Serum MG antibodies were detected by ELISA.The genome was extracted from lung, air sac and throat swab,16S rDNA primer was designed, the pathogenic nucleic acid was detected by PCR method, and the PCR products were purified and sequenced to verify the accuracy. The results showed that different levels of MG infection existed in all the poultry farms in Liaoning Province, and the serum antibody and pathogen positive rates ranged from 13.6%~93.0%and 16.5%~35.5%,respectively.The positive rate of serum antibody was the highest in west Liaoning(60.2%)and the lowest in East Liaoning(47.1%).The serum antibody positive rate of laying hens>126 days of age was the highest(77.6%),the serum antibody positive rate of 8~14 days of broilers was the highest(52.1%).The serum antibody positive rate of laying hens(63.2%)was higher than that of broilers(47.7%).The positive rate of pathogen was highest in central Liaoning(29.9%)and lowest in western Liaoning(24.2%).The highest positive rate was found in broilers aged 8~14 days(34.3%),and the lowest positive rate was found in laying hens aged>126 days(18.1%).The positive rate was higher in broilers(32.1%)than in laying hens(21.6%).The study showed that MG infection was related to the region, breed, age and feeding management level, and the investigation results provided a certain reference for the prevention and control of MG.
