Abstract:The experiment was conducted to explore the population structure and genetic diversity of Bactrian camels,in order to provide reference for further mining of Bactrian camels resources, protection and utilization of Bactrian camels.A total of 60 blood samples were collected(20 peaks were selected from each of the three populations, including five peaks for males and 15 peaks for females). The samples were sequenced with high throughput by whole genome resequencing technology. The phylogenetic tree and principal component analysis(PCA)of the populations were constructed by neighborhood linkage method.Software was used to detect homozygosity(ROH)of samples for population structure and genetic diversity analysis. The results showed that the average Q20 and Q30 of 60 samples were 98.90%and 95.09%,respectively,and the average GC content was 42.34%.15 305 199 single nucleotide polymorphism(SNPs)were detected.Bactrian camel has independent ancestral origin, while Junggar Bactrian camel and Tarim Bactrian camel show the same ancestral origin, and the inbreeding degree of Bactrian camel was the highest, and the genetic diversity was low.The results show that it is recommended to select and match the species scientifically to avoid the decline of population performance due to inbreeding decline.
