Abstract:Heat stress not only affects the health of animals but also causes significant economic losses to the breeding industry.High temperatures can lead to heat stress in mammals, causing disorders in the secretion of reproductive hormones and obstructions in sperm production, severely reducing the quality of animal semen, and leading to decreased conception rates, embryonic viability, and reproductive capacity in livestock. The article discusses the effects of heat stress on testicular tissue, regulation of reproductive hormones, and semen quality, and summarizes control strategies against heat stress in animal husbandry. It provides references for alleviating the negative impacts of high temperatures on livestock, improving reproductive capacity, and reducing economic losses.
