Abstract:The aim of this study was to evaluate and compare the immune effect of avian adenovirus type 4(FAdV-4)vaccine in suspension culture, adhesion culture and subunit protein(rod expression),and to provide reference for selecting a suitable technical route for production process.Suspension culture adenovirus, adhesion culture adenovirus and rod expression subunit protein vaccine were prepared in the test, and the immune effect was evaluated by immunizing SPF chickens with three kinds of vaccines respectively. The results showed that the titers of serum neutralizing antibody and ELISA antibody in the suspended venom group were the highest, and the titers of two antibodies in the adhesive venom group were similar to those in the adhesive venom group.Subunit protein group had the lowest antibody titer, especially the neutralizing antibody titer was significantly lower than the other two groups. There was no death in other immune groups except for one death in subunit protein group. After 8 w of immunization, neutralizing antibody titer and attack protection rate of suspension venom group and adherent venom group were superior to subunit protein group. The results showed that the immune effect of suspension and adherent culture was better.
