Abstract：Mycoplasma synoviae(MS)can cause acute or chronic respiratory diseases,infectious synovitis,airborne infectious diseases,and abnormal eggshell tip in chickens,which has caused huge economic losses to poultry industry.In the paper,the epidemiology,pathogenic characteristics,clinical symptoms,diagnostic methods,and prevention and control measures of Mycoplasma synoviae infection were reviewed,and the diagnostic techniques,research and development of vaccines and application prospects of Mycoplasma synoviae infection were prospected in order to provide a reference for clinical prevention and control of Mycoplasma synoviae infection.
