Research progress of traditional Chinese medicine polysaccharide in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease

Abstract：NAFLD refers to the metabolic stress liver injury caused by alcohol and other specific liver damage factors,which is closely related to insulin resistance,and is mainly characterized by excessive fat deposition in liver cells.The pathogenesis of NAFLD is complex,and there are no officially approved drugs to treat it.Traditional Chinese medicine boasts abundant resources and possesses unique advantages in the treatment of chronic liver diseases,with broad prospects for development.In recent years,some traditional Chinese medicine polysaccharides have been widely used in the prevention and treatment of NAFLD.The article reviews the research progress of traditional Chinese medicine polysaccharides in the prevention and treatment of NAFLD,in order to provide a reference for the application of traditional Chinese medicine polysaccharides in the prevention and treatment of NAFLD in veterinary clinic and follow-up research.
