Epidemic situation of sheep parasitosis and its control progress in Ningxia region

Abstract：The sheep industry in Ningxia has developed rapidly,and the sheep breeding in the region has reached more than 12 million,of which the Tan sheep industry is one of the'six special'key industries in the autonomous region.With the expansion of the scale of the sheep industry,sheep parasitosis has gradually become an important disease hindering the development of the sheep industry in Ningxia.Sheep parasitosis can be divided into two categories:Ectoparasites and internal parasites,which pose a major threat to the sheep industry by robbing the body of nutrients,secreting toxins and destroying tissues and organs.The paper collected the epidemic data of sheep parasitosis in Ningxia in the past ten years,and proposed the diagnosis of several endemic sheep parasitosis in Ningxia and the corresponding prevention and control measures,in order to provide a reference for the prevention and control of sheep parasitosis in Ningxia region.
