Abstract：The meat and by-products of waterfowl are one of the main sources of protein for humans.Sansui duck has the advantages of high egg production and good meat performance,but its molecular genetic mechanism has not been solved.At present,the research on Sansui duck mainly includes genetic breeding,meat quality,disease prevention and control,production performance,feed additives,and so on,and some research results have been achieved.In the paper,the current situation of breeding,genetic breeding,growth performance,disease prevention and control of Sansui duck were reviewed in order to provide reference for the development of Sansui duck industry.
