Abstract:The aim of the study was to systematically evaluate the effectiveness of swine O-type foot-and-mouth disease immunization in Yulin City. The method of sampling detection and retrospective investigation was combined to monitor and systematically analyze the level of immune antibody and its influencing factors of swine O-type foot-and-mouth disease vaccine in Yulin City from 2014 to 2022.The results showed that from 2014 to 2022,the average pass rate of immune antibody level of swine O-type foot-and-mouth disease in Yulin City was 80.9%,which all met the standard set by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, not lower than 70%.However,the pass rate of immune antibody level of swine O-type foot-and-mouth disease of scattering raising-households in 2019 and 2020 was 56.3%and 66.7%,respectively.In 2014 and 2019,the antibody qualification rate of large-scale pig farms was 75.7%.The study indicates that the main reasons for the unsatisfactory or insufficient level of body water include lack of reinforced immunity, excessively long or short intervals between immunity and sampling monitoring, improper storage or use of vaccines,non-standard immune operations, and the health status of the pig population.
