Research progress of the effect of miRNA on fat metabolism in sheep under acute cold stress

Abstract：Micro RNA(miRNA)is a non-coding small RNA derived from living organisms.The length of miRNA is about 18～25 nucleotides(nt).The production process in organisms is very complicated and participates in the regulation of many life activities.Under acute cold stress,the animal body will quickly mobilize various metabolic activities,which fat metabolism is particularly important.miRNA plays an important regulatory role in fat metabolism.miRNA mainly regulates the corresponding signal pathways during the differentiation process of adipocytes by regulating the corresponding target genes to help the body resist the external cold stimulation.The article reviews the detection methods and regulatory mechanisms of miRNA,and summarizes its research progress on the regulation of fat metabolism under acute cold stimulation.
