Surveillance of antibody and pathogen of H9 subtype avian influenza in Qujing scale chicken farm in 2019

Abstract：In order to investigate the antibody and antigen status of H9 subtype avian influenza in Qujing scale chicken farms,1 462 serum samples and 166 suspected disease materials were collected from Qujing scale chicken farms,and hemagglutination(HA)and hemagglutination inhibition(HI)tests were used.PCR detection technology performs serological and pathogenic detection on collected samples.The results showed that in the 1 462 serum samples collected,1 454 were H9 antibody positive,the positive rate was 99.5%,the average antibody titer was 10 log2,the broiler antibody positive rate was 99.6%,and the layer chicken antibody positive rate was 99.4%.The August antibody positive rate(97.9%)was lower than the February,May,November antibody positive rate;166 suspected samples were collected,the positive rate was 8.4%,the broiler pathogen positive rate was 7.7%,and the laying hen pathogen positive rate was 9.1%.The August pathogen positive rate was 4.9%.The survey results clarified the prevalence of H9 subtype avian influenza in Qujing scale chicken farms,and provided a reference for the prevention of H9 subtype avian influenza in Qujing scale chicken farms.
