The past, present and the future prevalent and the prevention and control of avian leukemia J subgroup in China--Enlightenment for animal disease prevention and control in China

Abstract：Avian leukosis virus (ALV) is a kind of retroviruse cause polytype tumor in poultry, include 10 subgroups from group A to J. Subgroup J of avian leukosis virus (ALV-J) was identified and isolated at the end of the eighties by Payne. Since first isolated in China in 1999, ALV-J has been spread from fryer to layer and local strain chicken. This article made a brief introduc-tion of the prevalent and the prevention and control of ALV in China, in order to make a new en-lightenment for animal disease prevention and control in China.
