Effect of dietary forage-to-concentrate ratios on rumen internal environment and rumen microbial flora

Abstract：As the ruminants’ feed mills in the body,rumen affect the utilization of feed through it’s internal environment and microbial flora balance.Change the forage-to-concentrate ratios could affect the rumen internal environment and rumen microbial flora,thereby affecting the production efficiency.The latest research progress of different forage-to-concentrate ratios controlling rumen pH, concentration of NH3-N, VFA, and rumen microbial flora were summarized in this paper, provide a theoretical basis for improving the productivity of ruminants in the pro-duction practice.
