Research progress of Porcine circovirus type 2

Abstract：Porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2) have become a common viral disease of hog and wild boars, it is caused by a disease called porcine circovirus associated disease (PCVAD). Since por-cine circovirus associated disease (PCVAD) outbreak, its infection is an important infective dis-ease in pig in recent years, which seriously hinders the development of pig industry. In the pur-pose of further understanding the disease,and making better prevention and control of this dis-ease, the paper reviewed the etiology, epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical symptoms, prevention and control measures of PCV2 in terms.
