Influence of different parities and mating seasons on the reproductive performance of Yorkshire sow

Abstract：To investigate the effect of parities and mating seasons on the reproductive perfor-mance of Yorkshire sow, litter size, litter birth weight and weaning weight of Yorkshire sows (753) were comparative analysised by SPSS 16.0 software. The result showed that parities signifi-cant effect the litter size(P<0.05). This characteristics have an upward tendency with parities. Titter size and piglets of spring and winter breeding sows was significant different to autumn(P<0.05);Litter birth weight, weaning weight of winter breeding sows is higher than other three sea-sons’.
