Abstract:The experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of dietary biochar including vine-gar liquid (BIOV) on growth performance and blood characteristics of weanling pigs. 60 barrows were allotted to 5 dietary treatments. Pigs in 1 group were fed with basal diets, and 2,3,4,5 groups were fed with oxytetracycline, 1%, 2%, and 3% BIOV respectively. The results of 14-d experi-ment showed that compared with control group, dietary 1% BIOV increased ADG by 8.55%(P<0.05), which is significant difference with ANT group(P<0.05). But the ADG in pigs fed 3% BIOV decreased by 1.68%(P>0.05). Dietary 1% BIOV significantly increased the lymphocyte ratio and IgG(P<0.05), also, it significantly reduced the concentration of BUN and cortisol. It is concluded that dietary 1% BIOV improves performance and has improvement on immune function and anti-stress. Dietary 3%BIOV might conduct negative effect on piglet.
