Four Efficacy Tests on treatment methods of mycoplasmal pneumonia of swine

Abstract：In order to find an effective treatment of swine enzootic pneumonia, four treatment methods were carried out, to improve the cure rate of swine enzootic pneumonia. Methods: 60 pigs diagnosed with swine enzootic disease were selected in a pig farm, these pigs were randomly divid-ed into 4 groups, respectively used Maxingshigan Decoction with western medicine point injection, orMaxingshigan Decoction only, treated with western medicine only and acupuncture only. Results:the cure rate was 93.33% in the Maxingshigan Decoction alone with western medicine point injection group; 73.33% in Maxingshigan Decoction group; 80% in the western medicine group and 46.67% in the acupuncture group. Conclusion: Maxingshigan Decoction with western medicine point injection is the most effective methods in the treatment of swine enzootic pneumonia. A feasible method was proved for the treatment of the disease.
