Abstract:In this paper, 24 strains of Enterococcus faecalis were isolated from 100 cecum swabs of broilers in a farm, Liaoning Provence and identified as Enterococcus faecalis through the ATB bacterial identification instrument. Their drug sensitivity was tested against 14 antibiotics. The results showed they were sensitive to Penicillin, Vancomycin, ampicillin and Teicoplanin, resis-tant against Toerythromycin, Chloramphenicol, Ciprofloxacin, tetracycline, levofloxacin and Dalfo-pristin, the resistance rate reached 100%. According to the results, the bacteria from the broil-ers in the farm were resistant to antimicrobial drugs seriously.
