Abstract：Based on the situation that lacking of independent high performance breed, low yield of meat sheep owing to absence of effect guidance, poor meat quality, this paper provided strategy of paying equal attention to local breed protection and usage, combination of breed selection and breed introduction, adheration and improvement of the breed enrollment system, in order to strength breed resource utilization and management.The new breed development advice for our coun-try including devotion, programming, management and technology were provided in order to promote breed industry technology innovation and establish China meat sheep system.
