Determination of Anethole, D-limonene and Carvacrol in Fodder Flavouring Agent

Abstract：An effective method was developed to determine anethole、d-limonene and carvacrol in fodder flavouring agent by GC. The anethole、d-limonene and carvacrol were extracted from fodder flavouring agent with acetone and were determined by GC. Recoveries of anethole、d-limonene and car-vacrol were 96.2%~101.5%, 97.1%~102.5% and 96.5%~99.8%.Relative standard deviations were 1.3%, 1.5% and 1.1%. The lower determination limits were 50mg/kg. The method is effective and accurate for determining anethole, d-limonene and carvacrol in fodder flavouring agent.
