Abstract：In recent years, avian influenza caused serious threaten to susceptible animals and hu-man and brought serious economic loss for many countries and regions. To better prevent the out-break of avian influenza, this paper summarized the epidemiological characteristics and status of avian influenza, and proposed some preventive measures against the disease to provide references for prevention and control of avian influenza.
