Abstract:In order to isolate the intestinal live strains which can be used to develop probiot-ics additive for pig, a ecological pig farm in Daye township of Linghai in Jinzhou city were se-lected for gathering intestinal fecal samples of healthy piglets with about 10-day age. The total 12 samples were isolated cultured using MRS agar medium at the beginning, then isolated strain clones with the classic culture features and morphological characteristics, were subsequently identified through the physiological and biochemical assay method combining with 16S rRNA gene mo-lecular identification method, finally a confirmed isolated strain of enterococcus faecium was named LN/EF1312 strain. This result provide foundation for the research on the function of live intestinal enterococcus.
