Abstract:In this study, the effect of fermentated protein feed instead of normal protein feed on the antioxidant and immune abilities of growing-finishing pigs were investigated. The results showed that fermented soybean meal, fermented cottonseed meal administered into basal diet could greatly improved the activities of glutathione superoxide dismutase(GSH-Px), total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC)(P<0.05), decrease the serum MDA content(MDA)(P<0.05) and obviously increase the serum IgA content and IgM content in fattening pigs(P<0.05); the content of serum IgG was signif-icantly improved in growing-finishing pigs(P<0.01); The conclusion indicated that the fermented feed could enhance the immunity and antioxidant activity of growing-finishing pigs and had a greater application value in the production,it could save the cost of medication and improve the economic benefits.
