Abstract:To study the stability of virulence genes of S. aureus strains which was isolated from mastitis during subculture, toxicity and toxicity gene were detected before and after subcul-tured. 8 strains original, the 5th generation, the 10th generation, the 15th generation, the 20th generation and the 25th generation S. aureus were administered to mice in order to detecte the me-dian lethal rate. Variation of Vir genes including ZFB, ALF, BET, Xjngm and Nuc were investigated by PCR. The results showed that the vir gene distribution kept stable during passage. But Xjngm、ALF、BET genes mutated extremely. Toxicity increased after passed many times from mice, which indi-cated that Xjngm has the most dependability to toxicity, and is easily be affected by subculture.
