Abstract：NR5A2 belonging to the nuclear receptor superfamily, is a ligand-activat-ed transcription factors, it is NR5A subfamily, is a orphan receptor, is the liver receptor homologue. On the one hand, in the animals' liver, pancreas, intestines and other organs in NR5A2 ovary was expressed, particularly in the ovary to get as high expression; On the other hand, NR5A2 in animal embryonic development and differentia-tion, somatic cell programming, cholesterol metabolism or metabolism of bile acids, steroid hormone production and reproductive activities play an important role.
