Abstract： Ceftiofur is metabolized rapidly to desfuroylceftiofur(DFC), DFC also has broad antibiotic activity. Therefore, studies ceftiofur pharmacokinetic, ceftio-fur is converted to DFC, then should determinate the amount of DFC. In domestic ex-ternal standard using HPLC detection of drug residues of ceftiofur only remain in the detection of ceftiofur prototype instead of detect DFC. Desfuroyl Ceftiofur lin-ear range of the standard curve and the determination of discussion for the future determination of ceftiofur in vivo pharmacokinetic studies to establish experimen-tal theoretical basis.
