Citation Analysis of Published Articles in the Journal of Diagnosis and Therapy on Dermato-venereology from 2010 to 2015

Abstract：Objective:To study the academic level and scientific impact of the Journal of Diag-nosis and Therapy on Dermato-venereology by citation analysis .Methods:Papers and citations published on the journal between 2010-2015 were retrieved from China Academic Journal Network Publishing Database ( CAJD) and Wanfan Database , and then the data about citation frequencies , documentary types , subject content and acquisition of funds were analyzed by Microsoft Excel . Results:Of the total 930 papers, 625 were cited and the citation rate was 67.20% (625/930). The total citation frequency of 625 papers was 2 220 and the average citation frequency of single paper was 3.55(2220/625) with the top times of 39.Of the total 104 papers with fundings, the citation rate was 66 .34% ( 69/104 ) , and the average citation frequency of single paper was 3.84 .Sixteen papers were cited more than 15 times, 26 papers were 10 to 15 times, and 115 pa-pers were 5 to 9 times.The papers cited more than 5 times referred to alopecia areata , acne and psoriasis .Conclusion:Papers in the Journal have a high citation frequency .We should strengthen work in inviting manuscripts , accept better quality articles about clinical diagnosis and treatment , in order to further enhance its academic influence .
