Abstract:Objective:To investigate the expression and clinical significance of IL-17/IL-23 in-flammatory axis in chronic spontaneous urticaria ( CSU) .Methods:Serum level of IL-17、IL-23 were detected in 158 CSU patients and 121 healthy controls by ELISA.The CSU patients were di-vided into two groups with autologous serum skin test(ASST), and the levels of IL-17、IL-23 of two groups were compared. Results:The levels of IL-17 and IL-23 in CSU patients were signifi-cantly higher than that of controls(t=13.02, 3.87, P<0.01).And the levels of IL-17 and IL-23 in ASST positive CSU patients were higher than in ASST negative CSU patients ( t =8.36, 4.96 , P <0.01 ) .Conclusion:The IL-17/IL-23 inflammatory axis plays an important role in CSU, and it can effect autoimmunity level.
