The Status of Sexually Transmitted Infections in the Drifting Population in Panyu District

Abstract:Objective:To understand the sexually transmitted infections and awareness of sexu-ally transmitted diseases in the drifting population in PanYu , and to provide a scientific basis for improving the prevention and control the sexually transmitted disease in the future .Methods:5 large factories and builders have more than 100 people were randomly surveyed .Four kinds of ve-nereal infection (gonorrhea, chlamydia, genital warts and syphilis) was investigated.Results:A total of 338 individual was surveyed .Of which there were 8 cases of gonorrhea (2.4%), 33 cases of Chlamydia (9.76%), 27 cases of genital warts (7.99%) and 12 cases of syphilis (3.55%). There are five cases with cross infection .Conclusion:The drifting population in PanYu was STDs high.The flow of positive and effective STD health education and behavioral intervention is more urgent.
