Abstract:Objective:To explore the genetic correlation between HLA-DRB1 allele polymor-phisms and infantile cutaneous hemangioma in Guangxi Han population .Methods:88 patients with infantile cutaneous hemangioma ( study group ) and 105 normal individuals ( control group ) were selected in Guangxi Han population as study subjects .HLA-DRB1 alleles in two groups were typed by polymerase chain reaction -sequence specific primers ( PCR -SSP ) .SPSS software was used for statistical analysis .Results:The frequency of HLA-DRB1*16 allele in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group ( 28.98% vs 14.76%, RR =3.29 , P <0.05 ) .Whereas the frequency of HLA-DRB1*1401 allele in study group was significantly lower than that in control group (6.82% vs 16.67%,RR=0.32,P<0.05).Conclusion:In Guangxi Han population , HLA-DRB1*16 may be the predisposing gene of infantile cutaneous hemangio-ma, whileas HLA-DRB1*1401 may be the protective gene .
