A Case of Thyroid-like Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma
Abstract:Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) is a malignant tumor arising from the epithelial lining of intrahepatic bile ducts and surrounding glands. Thyroid-like intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (TLICC) is a rare morphological subtype of ICC. This article reports one case of TLICC, and discusses its clinical pathological features, immunophenotype, differential diagnosis, and prognosis in combination with relevant literature, to deepen the understanding of this special type of biliary tract cancer. This study has been approved by the Ethics Review Committee of Huai'an No. 5 People's Hospital (Approval Number: KY-P-2025-28).
