Abstract:Trophoblast cell surface antigen 2(TROP2)is a calcium signal-transducing transmembrane glycoprotein closely associated with tumorigenesis and development, serving as a key member of the tumor-associated calcium signal transducer protein family.Recent studies have revealed that TROP2 exhibits aberrant expression in various epithelial-derived malignancies, including non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC),where it promotes tumor cell's proliferation, invasion and metastasis by regulating multiple signaling pathways, playing a critical role in tumor progression. In recent years,antibody-drug conjugates targeting TROP2 have demonstrated significant therapeutic potential in the treatment of various malignancies, including NSCLC.This review primarily focuses on the molecular structure of TROP2,its expression patterns and functional mechanisms in NSCLC,as well as current preclinical and clinical research on TROP2-targeted drugs, aiming to provide new insights and strategies for targeted therapy in NSCLC.
