Abstract:Surgery is the most important treatment modality for renal tumor at present, and nephrometry score system serve as critical tools in preoperative decision-making,prediction of surgical difficulty and perioperative complications, and prognostic assessment of renal tumor surgery. At present, domestic and foreign experts and scholars have developed more than 40 nephrometry score systems one after another, including the first-generation scoring system and the second-generation scoring system. In this paper, the second-generation scoring systems are divided into four categories:scoring systems based on traditional anatomical parameters, scoring systems based on new parameters, scoring systems based on 3D imaging, and scoring systems based on postoperative parameters, and 11 nephrometry score systems, which have been fully validated by R.E.N.A.L.,PADUA,and C-index,and have been proposed at home and abroad over the past 5 years, are introduced and analyzed for their clinical application value and prognostic assessment. We analyze the clinical application value and limitations of these scoring systems to help clinicians in the preoperative prediction of renal tumor surgery, and look forward to the future development direction of renal tumor scoring systems,so as to provide reference for the development of more comprehensive and practical nephrometry score systems in the future.
