A Case of Cervical Micropapillary Adenocarcinoma
Abstract:Infiltrating carcinomas with micropapillary structures have been reported in the breast, lung, and urinary tract [1-3], but cervical micropapillary adenocarcinoma is rare. Previous reports have mostly involved mixed forms with other adenocarcinomas or squamous cell carcinomas, and pure cervical micropapillary adenocarcinoma is extremely rare. To enhance understanding of the diagnosis and treatment of this disease, we report the microscopic findings, immunohistochemical characteristics, diagnosis, and treatment of a patient with cervical micropapillary adenocarcinoma who was treated at our hospital. This study has been approved by the Ethics Review Committee of Shandong Provincial Maternal and Child Health Hospital (Approval No.: 2025-007).
