Abstract:As a new therapeutic method, immunotherapy based on immune checkpoint inhibitors has achieved great success in various solid tumors and has also attracted significant attention in the field of colorectal cancer.Colorectal cancer can be divided into two categories:deficient mismatch repair/microsatellite-high(dMMR/MSI-H)and proficient mismatch repair/microsatellite stable(pMMR/MSS),according to mismatch repair and microsatellites states.dMMR/MSI-H colorectal cancer is more sensitive to immune checkpoint inhibitors than pMMR/MSS.At present, there are lots of achivements in immunotherapy for dMMR/MSI-H and pMMR/MSS colorectal cancer, including new modes of immunotherapy and searching for related biomarkers. This article provides a review of the research progresses related to immunotherapy for colorectal cancer.
