Diagnostic value of MRI combined with serum B7-H4 and TFF3 detection for benign and malignant ovarian tumors

Abstract：Objective To analyze the diagnostic value of magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)combined with serum co-stimulatory factor B7 homolog 4(B7-H4)and trefoil factor 3(TFF3)detection for benign and malignant ovarian tumors.Methods From February 2021 to January 2024,A total of 164 patients with ovarian tumors who accepted by Hanzhong People's Hospital were collected.Based on postoperative pathological examination results,the patients were separated into a malignant group(57 cases)and a benign group(107 cases).Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was applied to analyze the diagnostic value of serum B7-H4 and TFF3 for benign and malignant ovarian tumors.The value of MRI combined with serum B7-H4 and TFF3 in diagnosing benign and malignant ovarian tumors was calculated by Chi-square test.Multivariate Logistic regression model was applied to analyze the factors affecting the malignancy of ovarian tumors.Results The serum B7-H4 and TFF3 levels in the malignant group were obviously higher than those in the benign group(P＜0.05).The area under the curve(AUC)of MRI in diagnosing benign and malignant ovarian tumors was 0.817,and the sensitivity,specificity,and accuracy were 82.46％,75.70％and 78.05％,respectively.The AUC of serum B7-H4 for diagnosing benign and malignant ovarian tumors was 0.834,with a cutoff value of 66.641 μg/L,sensitivity and specificity of 80.70％and 77.57％,respectively.The AUC of serum TFF3 for diagnosing benign and malignant ovarian tumors was 0.855,with a cutoff value of 279.974 μg/L,sensitivity and specificity of 80.70％and 76.64％,respectively.The AUC of MRI combined with serum B7-H4 and TFF3 in diagnosing malignant ovarian tumors was 0.865,and the sensitivity and specificity were 94.74％and 74.77％,respectively,with an accuracy of 81.71％.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that B7-H4,TFF3 and tumor component were factors that affected the malignancy of ovarian tumors(P＜0.05).Conclusion MRI combined with serum B7-H4 and TFF3 detection can improve the diagnostic value of benign and malignant ovarian tumors.
