Progress in clinical trials of tumor vaccine for microsatellite stable colorectal cancer

Abstract：In recent years,with the deepening development of research fields such as tumor immunology,cell biology,and molecular technology,immunotherapy for tumors has gradually emerged as an innovative and promising treatment method.Tumor vaccine treatment is one of them.Tumor vaccine treatment can precisely regulate relevant biomarkers in the tumor immune microenvironment through carefully designed vaccines,thereby activating or enhancing the body's own immune system and producing specific recognition and killing abilities against tumor cells.It is worth mentioning that tumor vaccine therapy has unique advantages in addressing microsatellite stabilized(MSS)colorectal cancer.The efficacy of traditional immunotherapy for MSS colorectal cancer is often unsatisfactory,and tumor vaccine therapy can precisely make up for this deficiency.Tumor vaccines not only provide new treatment options for MSS colorectal cancer patients,but also open up more new possibilities for precise treatment and prognosis management of colorectal cancer,which is expected to bring more long-term survival benefits and better quality of life to patients.
