Research status of Wnt signaling pathway and immunotherapy efficacy

Abstract：Wnt/β-catenin signaling is a highly conserved pathway that regulates stem cell self-renewal,cell proliferation,differentiation,apoptosis and tissue homeostasis.Wnt plays a major role in controlling cell homeostasis,including strict regulation of the development and function of immune cells.Wnt proteins also regulate effector T-cell development,regulatory T-cell activation and dendritic-cell maturation.A combination therapy that targets Wnt/β-catenin signaling and includes cancer immunotherapy would be highly beneficial and have broad clinical application prospects.In this article,the mechanism of action of Wnt pathway and its role in immunotherapy were described,and the relationship between Wnt and tumor immunotherapy was discussed,as well as the research status of related drug.
