Abstract:Objective To investigate the risk factors of venous thromboembolism(VTE)in post-discharge non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)patients undergoing elective surgery. Methods From September 2019 to November 2021,226 post-discharge NSCLC patients undergoing elective surgery were enrolled in this study. The general data, preoperative laboratory examination, pulmonary function examination, ultrasound, operation related data and histopathological examination were analyzed.Logistic multivariate model was used to evaluate the independent influencing factors of VTE of post-discharge patients. Results Among the 226 patients,26 developed VTE with an incidence rate of 11.6%,including 22 cases of deep vein thrombosis and 4 cases of pulmonary embolism. There were statistically significant differences in age,BMI,surgery mode,FEV1 levels and intramuscular venous dilation of lower limbs between the VTE group and the non VTE group(P<0.05).The results of logistic multivariate analysis showed that age,BMI,surgeny mode, lower limb intermuscular venous dilation, and FEV1 level were all independent factors affecting the occurrence of VTE in post-discharge patients(P<0.05).Conclusion The occurrence of VTE after discharge in NSCLC patients undergoing elective surgery is closely related to age,BMI,surgery mode, intermuscular venous dilation of lower limbs and FEV1 level. The older the age and BMI,the open surgery treatment, the intermuscualr venous dilation and the lower the level of FEV1 are more likely to develop VTE of post-discharge.
