Abstract:Objective To investigate the levels and clinical significances of serum fibroblast growth factor 19(FGF19),Golgi transmembrane glycoprotein 73(GP73)and lysophosphatidic acid(LPA)in patients with primary hepatocellular carcinoma. Methods One hundred and six patients with primary hepatocellular carcinoma diagnosed and treated from May 2020 to May 2023 were selected as the observation group, and 53 healthy individuals who underwent physical examinations during the same period were selected as the control group.Serum levels of FGF19,GP73 and LPA were compared between both groups.Kendall's tau-b method was used to analyze the correlation of serum FGF19,GP73 and LPA levels with clinical pathological characteristics of primary hepatocellular carcinoma patients.Logistic regression model and receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve were used to evaluate the efficacy of FGF19,GP73 and LPA in the combined diagnosis of primary hepatocellular carcinoma. Results Serum levels of FGF19,GP73 and LPA in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Compared with serum FGF19,GP73 and LPA levels in terms of TNM stages, differentiation degrees and lymph node metastasis, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Correlation analysis of Kendall's tau-b showed that serum FGF19,GP73 and LPA levels were positively correlated with TNM stage, differentiation degree and lymph node metastasis(P<0.05).ROC curve analysis showed that the area under curve of FGF19,GP73,LPA and their combination in the diagnosis of primary hepatocellular carcinoma were 0.833,0.846,0.864 and 0.945 with the sensitivities of 77.40%,82.10%,94.30%and 92.50%and specificities of 83.00%,79.20%,81.10%and 83.00%.Conclusion Serum FGF19,GP73 and LPA show abnormal expression trend in patients with primary hepatocellular carcinoma.Monitoring the changes of their levels will help to provide an important basis for timely detection of primary hepatocellular carcinoma.
