Abstract:Artificial intelligence is an emerging technology science that uses computer models and algorithms to replicate sim?ulations that resemble human intelligence and perform specific tasks, providing enormous potential for healthcare. Artificial intelligence is widely used in many aspects of tumor radiotherapy, mainly covering the application of automatic segmentation technology in tumor target area and automatic delineation of organs at risk. Many techniques based on U?net model are in tumor target area and organs at risk. The application of automatic prediction of dose distribution, based on deep learning and artificial neural network?based techniques in the automatic design of radiation therapy plans and the prediction of radiation toxicity before radiation therapy and the efficacy of ra?diation therapy. This paper reviews the basics of traditional machine learning, deep learning and artificial neural networks and the ap?plication of artificial intelligence in tumor radiotherapy.
