Abstract:TRIMs family proteins are functional proteins with ubiquitinated ligase E3 activity. They play an important role in regulating cell cycle, apoptosis, differentiation, viral immune response and tumorigenesis. Recent studies have shown that some mem?bers of TRIMs family are involved in the occurrence and development of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). In addition, more and more evidences show that TRIMs family proteins not only promote the development of HCC, but also inhibit the growth of HCC. Therefore, understanding the dual regulation mechanism of TRIMs family proteins in the occurrence and development of HCC has important clinical significance in the diagnosis, treatment and prognostic evaluation of HCC. This paper reviews the research progress of TRIMs family proteins in HCC.
