Current status and progression of molecular targeted drugs and immunological checkpoint inhibitors in the treatment of advanced hepatocellular carcinoma

Abstract:Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most common malignant tumors in the world, especially in China.It is difficult to treat and has a poor prognosis.In 2007, the research of sorafenib in the treatment of HCC was successful. Since then, a new era of systematic treatment of HCC has been opened up. Clinical studies have been flourishing, especially molecular targeting and immunotherapy. The results are mixed.Among them, there are many problems worthy of serious consideration, summary and improve?ment.This article reviews the current status and progress of molecular targeted drugs and immunological checkpoint inhibitors in the treatment of advanced HCC.
