Abstract:Objective To explore the preventive effect of modified " ShumuLiujunzi Decoction" on recurrence of type 1 gastric neuroendocrine neoplasm (g?NEN) after endoscopic treatment. Methods From April 2010 to March 2017, 41 patients with type 1 g?NEN who were not treated by other western medicine after endoscopic resection were treated with"ShumuLiujunzi Decoction"as the basic prescription. One dose per day was taken separately in the morning and evening. The number, size and pathological diagno?sis of the tumors were observed every 6 to 12 months, and the recurrence rate and median recurrence time were calculated. Results Endoscopic manifestations were mainly polypoid lesions. The initial pathological diagnosis of the lesions was neuroendocrine tumors G1 or G2.The median follow?up time was 20 months (range: 9?56 months). Eleven patients had recurrence, the recurrence rate was 26. 8%, and the median recurrence time was 19 months (range: 2?56 months). Conclusion The traditional Chinese medicine "ShumuLiujunzi Decoction" may prolong the recurrence time of type 1 g?NEN patients and reduce the recurrence rate.
