Abstract:Objective To explore the factors influencing the precise radiotherapy and prognosis of glioma after operation. Methods From July 2005 to May 2014, 270 patients with glioma received precise radiotherapy after operation were collected. The effects of age, sex, KPS, tumor location, time of radiotherapy, pathological grade, operation mode and whether or not concurrent ra?diotherapy and chemotherapy were analyzed by univariate and multivariate analysis. Results The 1?year survival rate was 79%, the 2?year survival rate was 55%, the 3?year survival rate was 46%, and the OS was 30 months. Univariate analysis showed that KPS score (P=0. 012), pathological grade (P<0. 001) and degree of surgical excision (P<0. 001) affected the OS of glioma patients after sur?gery. Cox proportional regression analysis showed that KPS (P=0. 002), pathological grade ( P<0. 001), degree of surgical excision (P<0. 001) and concurrent chemotherapy were independent prognostic factors. Conclusion Good general condition, low pathological grade and high degree of surgical excision are beneficial to precise radiotherapy for glioma patients.
